PGA National Resort can assist with your Indian Wedding Planning

A Florida destination wedding and a traditional Indian wedding with contemporary flourishes come together beautifully at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach. Imagine colorful pre-wedding rituals, the pageantry of Baraat, a customary Mehndi, Milni, and Mandap, innovative fusion cuisine and authentic Indian flavors, a time honored Hindu wedding ceremony followed by modern dancing to Bollywood music, perhaps?

PGA National Resort & Spa has the capacity and versatility to provide a captivating blank canvas, ready for you to paint an everlasting picture. All that remains is to bring your vision to life in a unique Indian wedding that meets and exceeds all your dreams...and that is our commitment to each and every couple who grants us that pleasure.

Interpreting the Language of Love

As one of the 16 sacraments of Hindu life, a Shaadi performed in ancient Sanskrit represents a custom originating over 40 centuries ago. Today’s cultural weddings celebrate love as well as heritage. Whether the bride and groom are honoring shared customs or or celebrating differences in a cross cultural ceremony, our experienced Wedding and Catering Team at PGA National is well experienced and highly resourceful.

We begin by listening to your love story.

We believe that collaboration is at the heart of successfully designing a signature wedding to reflect you as a couple and newlyweds-to-be. We appreciate that in Hindu culture a marriage is not only an eternal bond between the bride and groom, but also a union between two families. We aim to support and assist you in creating and flawlessly executing an utterly joyous event for everyone.

We’re happy to work with your own wedding planner or the highly regarded local Indian wedding planner Amen Pawer-Larosa. Incorporate your own meaningful adornments into the event or simply hand us your wish list and we’ll get to work. No request is too elaborate for capturing the most magical moments.

Making the Extraordinary Happen

Imagine holding a ladies Sangeet on the Palm Terrace or enjoying a Mehndi party around tropical palms and prettily decorated cabanas strung with festive fairy lights beside The Spa’s healing mineral Waters of the World.

White horse or elephant, white limousine or helicopter, every groom makes his processional Baraat into a grand entrance at PGA National. The groom and his sarbala can even cruise in on a boat across our sparkling lake.

Do you favor sultry and mesmerizing modern touches all jumbled up with charismatic elements reflecting the deep roots of Indian tradition? To mix a traditional ceremony with its many rituals such as Ganesh Puja, Kanya Aagaman, Jai Mala, Mangal Pheras with its seven vows of Saptapadi, and Aashirvaad blessings, might you fancy a fireworks display to celebrate a modern marriage, closing out a fabulous day with a bang?

Delivering Distinctive Touches

Our most picturesque venue, the $100 million revitalized Lakeside Terrace, is perfect for Mandap décor framed by the setting sun, while the Honda Pavilion overlooks the resort’s dazzling 26-acre lake.

For larger weddings, our 10,000-square-foot PGA Grand Ballroom can be decorated as a colorful wonderland to accommodate more than 500 guests for a sumptuous banquet and celebratory dancing. In addition, the Vista, Bella Lago, and British Open Ballrooms provide further stunning interior options. Because capturing diverse Indian flavors is an art in itself, we partner with a handful of carefully selected Indian specialist caterers, each with an emphasis on their own native regional dishes. These can supplement our skilled chefs’ selection which contains more than 300 vegetarian dishes.

When it comes to moments of relaxation, we can create an exclusive tea room for the enjoyment of your guests, serving traditional beverages and accompanying nibbles. And with nearly 400 lovely balconied guest rooms and suites, as well as two-bedroom club cottages to accommodate your friends and family, guests need only to take the elevator home when the party ends.

Everywhere you look, PGA National Resort & Spa’s sprawling, pristine property beautifully embraces the incomparable pageantry and enchanting rituals during a Vivaah.

Getting to Know You

Getting an early start with your wedding planning can ensure that you can lock in precisely the dates you want to include Mehndi, Sangeet, reception and, of course, the day of the wedding ceremony.

Authentic Indian Flavors

At PGA National, our own team can create your authentic Indian meal, offering a selection of more than 300 vegetarian dishes. We realize, though, that capturing every Indian flavor is an art in itself, and that’s why we partner with a handful of carefully selected Indian caterers, each bringing their own North, South, East or West dishes.
